HIV/AIDS: Seminar on an Important Topic!

On December 2, 2024, a seminar on the topic:
“Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Infections. HIV/AIDS” was held at the Higher College of the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute named after A. Kusainov.
Organizers:
Prevention and Social Assistance Department of MTC “Zhas Tolkyn” and City Polyclinic No. 3 of the Akimat of Astana.
Goal of the event:
To provide students with knowledge about maintaining health, preventing STIs and HIV, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle.
What was discussed:
A dermatologist-venereologist shared information on the routes of transmission of infections, their consequences, and risk groups.
The discussion included how to protect yourself and your loved ones: prevention methods, the role of a healthy lifestyle, and the importance of timely consulting specialists.
Materials on “Your Safety Rules” were distributed.
Result:
More than 30 participants received valuable knowledge and practical recommendations that will help them preserve their own health and the health of those around them.
Health is not only a personal responsibility but also a contribution to the future of society.
